We were delighted to receive an invitation from Ciara to St Cecilia's on Friday the 24th May . Mr Colsh's 4th class group headed off at 1 pm and enjoyed their lunch in the fantastic outdoor classroom over at our neighbouring school. They were joined by the children from the silver,blue and yellow classes to mention but a few.
Ciara ,Eilis and the staff had set up lots of great activities and the children from both schools had lots of fun together, playing parachute games, making huge bubbles and completely leaf printing. In addition they got to make bird feeders ,clay faces and growing worms !!! The scavenger hunt for the hidden bird houses was fantastic fun. The visit ended with a music session with both schools enjoying the instruments ,the sing song and of course the treats!!
We would like to thank all the staff in St Cecilia's for the invitation and all their work setting up the stations.We look forward to working together in the future and hope the children will come to see us in Rathcormac soon.
