Wow, what a morning! The sun shone and the front yard was filled with mums and dads ready to play games with their children. Our Junior and Senior Infant children loved having time and fun with their parents.
Zara from Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership lead the activities which promoted general well-being and active play. There were various activities and cooperative games including ball and hoop games.
The juice and healthy fruit platters went down a treat at the end of the session in the shade. Thank you to all our parents who came along this morning and made the day so special. A big thank you to Mr Kelly for organising the event as part of our Active Schools Week and to Catríona, Ms Walsh, Mrs Connell and all the 6th class helpers for their help today.
