ANNE CURRID R.I.P.
We are all deeply saddened to hear of the death of our former secretary and much loved colleague Anne Currid. Anne was a valued member of staff for nineteen years before she retired in 2018. She was the face of Rathcormac NS, the first person to greet all visitors to our school, and always with a warm welcoming smile.
Anne was more than a secretary, her skills reached far beyond typing, photocopying, answering the phone and filing. To the staff she was a confidant, a solver of problems and a friend. To the children she was the secretary, a nurse, doctor, the person who called home when they were sick, the person who tended to their injuries (no cut was too small for a band-aid) and a friend.
Anne knew where everything was, or where to get it if we didn't have it. She was on hand for every school function and went about her work in her calm efficient way.
Our deepest sympathies to her husband Tom, sons Enda, David and Darragh, daughters Aoife and Niamh, sons in law Darren and Andy, daughters in law Aisling and Kate (our dear SNA), and her adored grandchildren Dylan, Dante, Memphis, Utah, Lincoln, Willow, and Ebonie.
Always in our hearts. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.
