We had such an informative and educational visit from archaeologist Tamlyn McHugh today. Classes learned in detail about what archaeology is and saw superb examples of artefacts. We even investigated artefacts ourselves and recorded key details on our observation sheets. We are lucky to have such incredible examples of archaeology literally on our doorstep too. We looked at maps and learned how to find where significant discoveries have been made.
