- The ATU Sligo Engineering Fair 2025 took place on Sunday March 2nd in Sligo ATU.
Our school was represented by a fabulous group of very talented pupils who showed off their projects and designs to the public in the ATU.
The pupils spoke about their designs and projects and interacted so well with the public as they checked out the projects.
There was a wind turbine,push and pull mechanisms and hovercrafts made from old cds! We even had bridges and structures made using pasta!
Rathcormac NS won prizes and were presented with certificates of achievement for Best Presentation and Explanation and for Most Innovative Project.
It isn’t always about prizes however.
The real winners on Sunday were all the pupils who participated and engaged with the public who were so impressed by all their efforts.
