Carol Service St Colmcille’s Church 12 th December
A huge thank you to the boys and girls from Ms Wood’s class and Mr Colsh’s class who took part in the parish Carol Service on Tuesday night at 8 pm in St Colmcille’s Church Rathcormac. It was a lovely service with the Rathcormac Church Choir, the Folk Group and the Drumcliff Community Games Choir all taking part on the night too. Fr Tom welcomed the large congregation and he lead the readings, prayers and reflections.
It was a chance for people to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas as they listened to the variety of beautiful carols performed on the night.
We are very proud of our children who sang their hearts out in their performances of “It was on a Starry night ” and “Because it’s Christmas”. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who attended on the night and to Ms Woods and Mr Colsh for preparing the children so well. It was a magical start to the Festive Season for us all. 🌲
