Community Visit from Sligo Fire Brigade
24th Apr 2024
As part of Aistear the children have been learning about the Fire station and the role of the firefighters in our local community. There was great excitement when the firefighters from Sligo Fire Station came with their fire engine to visit the school.
The firefighters gave an informative talk about their role as firefighters along with booklets to each pupil. The children learned all about the importance of Fire Safety. We should all know our Eircode and what to do in the event of a fire.
We would like to thank Jason and Alan for such an enjoyable and valuable experience for our pupils.
