Today Thursday the 27th of February we welcomed students and teachers from Cloghogue NS , Cliffoney NS ,Ballinacarrow NS , Scoil Molaise Grange to our hall for a Ficheall Chess Feile. There were 100 children taking part in the event today which was fantastic to see.
The students played 6 rounds of chess ♟️ over the course of the morning . The games were all played in a friendly and respectful manner and the children had the opportunity to get to know pupils from other schools as they played together in the yards
We would like to complement all the children on their excellent behaviour and hope that they continue to enjoy playing chess in the future. ♟️ Best of luck to the two teams who qualified today to take part in the next chess event.
