The hall was packed today with all our children and our very welcome guests. Parents and grandparent,neighbours and friends were thanked by Mrs Connell for taking the time to come along today to the Halloween assembly. We started with our Junior Infants poem 5 Little Pumpkins together with their lovely song Bairin Breac. A great start to our assembly. Senior Infants performed Fat Old Witch really well excellent choral speaking . FIrst class got Dem bones moving marvellously as they performed their song. Second class were up next with two excellent poem Autumn Leaves and Oiche Shamhna. Witches Spell was recited perfectly by Third Class and we were all surprised at the end of Mr Brennan’s poem The Marrog when a strange creature appeared!!! . Well done 3rd/4th class a fantastic rendition of The Marrog. Ghostbusters appeared next another fantastic performance from Mr Colsh’s class.We loved all your moves ! Fifth class scared us all with their song and dance This is Halloween and we finished our wonderful assembly with our 6th class performance of Thriller..
What a talented group of children we have here in Rathcormac! We had a wonderful variety of poems ,songs and dances today well done to everyone for all the hard work preparing for our get together today.
Mrs Connell thanked all the teachers and school staff for all their hard work this term and she wished everyone there a Happy and Safe Halloween.
