Otters and Dragonflies!
21st May 2024
Mr. Brennan's class enjoyed learning about otters, dragonflies and damselflies today to celebrate biodiversity.
We learned that an otter's den is called a holt and found out how to distinguish between otter footprints and other mammals' prints such as the fox, dog and cat.
The dragonflies presentation was really interesting also, we learned about the Emperor Dragonfly and the national survey ongoing which tracks this beautiful animal and its habits.
We learned how important it is to keep these animals alive and well.
One of our pupils had her really good question read out and answered in the webinar-'Do dragonflies glow in the dark'?
Well done!
