STEM Challenge #2 Paper aeroplanes.
16th Jun 2023
* *NEWSFLASH - Low flying aircraft spotted in hall this week!*
3rd to 6th classes enjoyed another STEM challenge this week as they were tasked with making a paper aeroplane.
Each pupil designed and made an aerodynamic aeroplane and 4th class measured the length that each aeroplane travelled.
Once more, to avoid paper waste, we used recycled newspaper to make the aeroplanes. Great fun ensued as classes watched the flights in action.
The winning aeroplane travelled well over 8 metres which is very impressive. Well done to everybody.
Could you design an aeroplane that could travel a longer distance?
